Metropolis - on broken backs you sleep
Metropolis - tears of sweat you weep
your groundwork 's built - on broken will
slapped to death - by time erased
in the abyss - (where) strength is dying
days everlasting - time never passes by
Metropolis - on broken backs you sleep
Metropolis - tears of sweat you weep
live to build - foreign dreams
never comes in sight - never a glimpse
your home 's the clockwork - your mind spins
round empty thoughts - just a hollow being
the same moves every day
the minds death a different way
darkness comes
end the reign
one more step to gain
no force left to use
no self left to abuse
everyone looks the same
throw (one) away, enough remain
Metropolis
your blood burns inside me
a part of me refuses to merge
red water injected within pain
pulled me into a mired world
burn your body and inhale your dissolving flesh
burn your body and withdraw from emptyness
a thousand screams howl in this thunderstorm
like rain pushed on broken glass
foreign furniture in once sane rooms
i don't recognize anymore
burn the body and inhale your dissolving flesh
burn your body and withdraw to nothingness
raving in this house of my own
as if i could leave
burn the body and inhale your dissolving flesh
burn your body and withdraw to nothingness
in the forest between the lurking trees
that's where i placed my domain
the abandoned forsaken mill
harboring the stones
relentless monoliths of grinding might
so old yet still alive
there i woke the sleeping giants
turned them to my cause
Refrain
cut the bodies to pieces
tearing the flesh from the bones
maiming and grinding the parts
lubricious dust
all form is gone
the bonemill - grinding on
my granite servants, allies in my quest
never care to rest
fulfill their purpose eternally
spinning to destroy
there'll be no doubt, no questioning
so perfect, no complains
aid the service that I render
liquidifying form
Walking giant, superior force
Walking giant, the world trembles under your footsteps
Walking giant, have you come to end the world?
Bleed for me, I've come to rule
Destroying with my hands the world once more
See my wrath
Walking giant, can't you see
You can be hurt by the tiny human race
That you have come to destroy
Speak no more
Conquering, my supreme decay
I've come to cleanse the land
And what walks on it
Feel my wrath
Walking giant, is this blood on our spears?
Are those wounds you bear?
How come we can hurt you in your supremacy?
Oh no this can't be
I'm dying by your hands
You pierced my skin
The wounds scar my flesh
This can't be, this can't be
I can't see, I can't see
I'm dying by your hands

The early recordings. Walking Giant and Bone Mill date back to 2010, when we recorded on borrowed equipment in our freezing rehearsal room. Metropolis and Combusted Mind instead were recorded and mixed by someone who knew what he did.
